THE ROLE OF COMMANDER

The Post Commander is the highest elected officer, presiding over all meetings, representing the post, and leading its programs of service to veterans and community.

A Century of Leadership

The Post Commander is the highest elected officer of an American Legion post, responsible for leading its programs, representing its members, and upholding the Legion's mission of service to veterans, community, and country.

The men and women who have served as Commander of Post 36 represent the very best of the veteran community — leaders who continued their service long after their military careers ended.

This record honors each Commander who has led our post. If you have information about a past commander not listed here, please contact us so we may complete this history.
